Who stands behind this site

Our Little Homestead Life is written and published by Tabatha Redmond, an individual, of 2606 Lily Way, Northport, AL 35473, United States. It is a personal site, not a company, and nothing here has been reviewed by an expert body.

General information only

Everything here reflects one person’s experience at the time of writing. It is general information and personal opinion, not professional advice of any kind.

Nothing on this site should be treated as legal, medical, financial, tax, or safety advice. If a decision has consequences in any of those areas, speak to a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Food, preserving and livestock

Home preserving, raising animals, and anything involving food safety depend on equipment, altitude, local rules, and conditions that cannot be judged from here. Follow a tested, current source from your own extension service or public health authority rather than a blog post, and check local ordinances before keeping animals.

No guarantee of results

What worked here may not work for you. Conditions, equipment, locations, prices, and rules change, and they differ from place to place. You are responsible for checking that something is suitable and safe before you act on it.

External links

Accuracy

Reasonable care goes into getting things right, but no warranty is given that content is complete, current, or error free. Prices, product availability, and supplier details in particular go out of date. Check with the source before you buy or build.

If you find an error, please write to hello@ourlittlehomesteadlife.org and it will be corrected.
